Well, I don't know. In fact, I'm not really sure why. But perhaps it's solely because I am not a die hard gamer, a video gamer, a video games lover, a videogame creator, a videogame developer or someone who spends too much time sitting on his fat ass wasting too much time thinking about how to gamify a healthy "social network", an organic community and a collective human experience whose Polls, Proposals and Whatnot would only and exclusively benefits me and to my high HP cronnies monetarily.
Yeah, that must be the reason why I tend to design and illustrate my "right to the point" Polls in Hive in a pretty colorful, fancy and in a quite public and notorious way in full view of everyone.
Or well, maybe it's only because I'm already too old to do them any other way? ¿What do you think?
The thing is that in these last few days, I have come across a couple of proposals, projects, plans or traps for the unwary. Whatever you want to call them here in Hive. Which after analyzing them in depth for a while and thinking about their obvious ramifications contrary to the common interest, I have to confess that they put me in a rather bad mood.
Oh yeah, right, of course all this can be only product of my own archaic point of view and my exclusive suspicious perspective on how I interpret the explanations and descriptions of what a well-known and relentness videogamer gives us about these "gamification" projects of which he seems to be seeking support among his cronies, the unwary and the sycophants in general. So, obviously I could be wrong somewhere in the confusing explanation he gave us as it might happen to everyone. ¿Huh?
Because hey, that for that precisely is that you're right there reading this, eh? To tell me and clarify it to me in the comments section of this post what you think. If I'm wrong, just tell me. And if I'm not, tell me too. Yeah, I dunno. Maybe today I woke up more cranky, perceptive and pernickety than usual. And so today I couldn't help but write a questioning post like this. It's not a common thing, but curiously it is becoming quite frequent lately.
So, feel free to judge whatever I have said so far and please clarify why I might be wrong in my hunch, analysis and assessment. After all, no one is immune to making mistakes, right? But hey, ¡Watch Out! Just make sure you have solid arguments to defend your position with what you entirely will try to refute my archaic point of view and veteran perspective. I suppose you won't want to be left in a bad position against the counter-argument of an old and veteran cranky chap. Don't worry about me, because that doesn't affect me in the least. On the contrary, I am always hoping to be wrong.
Because it's a real curse to always be right, you know?
The thing is that in my archaic and veteran opinion, it doesn't seem to me in the least right that some human, conscious and organic activities that should occur fluently and naturally among living human beings. Before forming a proper criteria, understanding, evaluation and the assessment of the value on the material consumed, then and only then the decision to upvote a post, to reblog a post or comment on a post must occur. That these highly conscious human activities have to be influenced at all by offering extra monetary rewards of any kind, it's a plain anachronism an Oopart.
What kind of new useless "gamified" corruption is this? Do we really have to wait for someone to pay us or invent a new confusing way of paying us for activities that otherwise would be sovereignly human, natural, conscious, organic and individual?
Holy shit! All I'm seeing is some incurable video gamers with lots of pampering and lots of support over the years doing, inventing and proposing to continue doing what they have been doing all their lives in the blockchain. ¡Play video games! That's all!
And now these incurable video gamers, with all the support of the HP that has been given to them over the years through delegations and the high voting power that this high HP has granted them, now intend to drag everyone here into a new game of dehumanization between the very few that still might conserve some of this humanity in their human essence? But how desperate are they or can they be?
Sorry, maybe I'm too old-fashioned for this nonsense. But deep down I can feel the fact that none of this stuff they're trying to sell us is what they're really selling us. At least not for our own benefit as they're trying to sell it to us. Somehow I sense that there's a trick within the video game. And that to level up in the game, you will have to go through a lot of uphill things like having a lot of HP from the start in first place. So, as far as I can see, it's a game for only the plutocracy to profit from faster, as always. ¿Am I wrong?
Well, if I'm wrong, you'll have the chance to clarify it for me down in the comments section as I said before. Therefore, with all that said, I guess all that's left for me to do now is to put together the colorful and well-illustrated POLL to which you have to answer by choosing only one of the two available options. Remember, only one or the other.
