My post for SMAP contest - ROUND 193.
In the past I had only seen sparrows bathing, but this is the first time I have seen sparrows together with tits. As the folk signs say, sparrows bathing in a puddle, means warm dry weather.
Bathing helps small birds maintain their feathers in good condition and get rid of parasites. Puddles also can be convenient places for them to drink water...
...аnd last but not least it is a funny sight that brings a smile to your face.
Grazie! It was a pleasure to watch. I even tried to shoot a video (it turned blurry, but I will try to upload it too). Video was more funny than photos. The little birdies are ,,, cute! 🐤
