Many people tend to confuse all Indian movies being Bollywood but that's not true within India, there is north side which has Bollywood and south which has Tollywood and more. Some movies of south becomes super famous and grabs audiences attention all over India.
To understand this better, one should know that there are multiple languages spoken in India and not everyone is good at every other language. It's hard to understand even. The mother tongue is Hindi which I know every well but rest of the languages had their own cinema and film industry which are quite popular in those people.
I will be talking about a south Indian movie called Pushpa.
This Tamil cinematography got an amazing star cast, director and the best storyline which has made it so much famous and how can I not talk about it's songs.
The plot revolves around Pushpa(played by superstar Allu Arjun) who is a poor coolie working for the black market supply of red sander wood which is only found in hills of Andhra Pradesh.
The entire movie is set in 1990's and the first part of the movie is released.
In the movie, He is a very strong character with nothing to loose but everything to conquer. With his smart mind he keeps on stepping forward in his life.
Considering how his mind works in black market business he gains a lot of enemies as well.
You must be thinking that this is the same old story of rise of a poor and smart minded person in a black business, But it Isn't the story , emotions and reality it portraits is worth applauding.
The most attractive feature of the movie is the attitude of Pushparaj. He wins heart by his character and smartness and in very short period of time becomes the supreme leader of the business.
I would like to squeeze in the zest of the movie as describing the entire story would be a spot spot.
This is action thriller and with a tint of romance which sets the mood of the movie very well.
The innocent romance of a very cunning and smart person was delightful to witness. It had it's fair share of comedy as well.
The lead actress Rashmika played amazing role of innocent village girl and impressed the audience with her witty performance. She is quite popular female actress in South and has a great fanbase of her own.
The sizzling performance by Samantha cannot be ignore, she played a camio in the film by just performing on song O Antava which was loved hugely worldwide.
The ending of the movie had many twist and turns, which indicated towards the part 2 and the gathering of new enemies.
The only thing I didn't liked about the movie was the speed of the story, It went super fast.
Rest the movie was amazing and worth your time. You can watch it on amazon prime with different languages and subtitles.
