It's most times confusing when you are sad and can't really understand what's happening around you.
I woke up confused,I knew I wasn't fine and for some minutes I felt sad I was concious of the fact that,this wasn't how I wanted to start my day.
Yes! life isn't perfect and I know I don't have all I could have wanted to but it wasn't enough reasons for me to feel overwhelmed and sad.

Wow! I have been praying and I know that prayer is a form of communication with God or a form of request.
Well,this time I became more deliberate and I started praying.
To be honest I was confused of what to pray about, though I knew i wasn't so happy but I had to be honest in the place of prayer and i said it the way i felt deep inside of me.
I told God that am not so sure of what's going on but I needed help
The first thing I felt after praying was peace, calmness and I was more relaxed.
I knew immediately that prayer is also a great form of therapy.
From my experiences here are few things that may happen when we pray deliberately and intentionally.
- Feelings of being heard and understood
- Peace and calmness
- Reduces stress
- It fights fear and anxiety
- And above all, prayers can fix things that we didn't even know.
