I hope you all are fine. I am also fine here. My post today is based on #worldmappin where I present to you an amazing Beauty of nature. Every time I post in the #worldmappin community, it's about a great location, be it a religious place, a museum or a garden. But my post today is based on a beautiful lake created by nature. The beauty of this lake looks beautiful because of the mountain peaks around it. Today I will talk to you about this beautiful lake in today's post. I'm always up for a post in the #worldmappin community. And try to share good locations in this community. Today's post and my photographs must be liked.
Kyagar Lake is a beautiful lake located in the Ladakh region of India. And the specialty of this lake is that it is a beautiful lake situated between the peaks of the mountains at a height. Kyagar Lake is situated at an altitude of about 4,600 meters above sea level. At such a height, even the air becomes thin. It is also difficult for those who have breathing problems to spend long time at this place. But the beauty of this place is so amazing that you get mesmerized by the beauty of nature when you visit this place. And you will forget all your sorrows. I am sharing my experience with you.
Now let me give you some information about how to reach this kyagar lake. The distance from Leh to Kyagar lake is about 140 km. This road passes through the mountains due to which the beauty of nature is abundant. To go from Leh to Kyagar Lake one has to first travel from Leh to Diskit. The distance of which is about 120 kilometers. As I told you earlier this road passes through the mountains due to which it takes about 4 to 5 hours to cover this distance. The distance from Diskit to Kyagar lake is about 20 kms. And you have to walk a bit to reach this lake.
Above I have presented three photographs of this lake and the surrounding area. If I talk about this lake, this lake is not so big and not so famous. Due to which the number of visitors coming here is very less. So the natural beauty of this lake is still intact. As I told you earlier the lake is relatively small. But its crystal-clear blue waters add to the appeal. So people come from all over the world to visit this lake. Another center of attraction for this lake is the snow-capped mountains and vast grasslands here. Which creates a lovely atmosphere.
Above I have presented you three photographs of the area around the lake. This area experiences a cold desert climate. Ranges of mountains will appear as far as you can see. But you will not see green trees anywhere on those mountains. Because this area is very barren and rocky. In some places, sandy areas are also found. You will find grass only in a small part around the lake. And due to being a cold area, snow is seen on the top of the river. During the winter time, the temperature here goes to minus.
You will also rarely see animals in this area. Yes, it is a fact that a large community of birds come here to visit this area. This includes migratory birds like ducks and geese. As I told you above, the vegetation is sparse due to the harsh climate. Thus, it is not possible to say that it is wrong. But you can see some hardy plants and grasses here. But I was very happy to capture this place on camera. I believe that the scenic beauty of the lake makes kyagar a popular place for photography.
The natural beauty of this place can be seen in the above three photographs. Many visitors trek around the lake to enjoy the views and explore the area. Local people here often associate this lake with local legends. The lake is considered a sacred place by some communities of Ladakh. I don't know about the legend that's why I'm not writing much about it here. But it is a fact that positive energy is experienced here by necessity.
The best time to visit Kyagar Lake is between June and September. As during this time the weather is mild and the roads are accessible. Because when it snows in the season of Shiel, the roads are closed to reach here. If I don't tell you about our experience visiting this lake, a visit to Kyagar Lake offers an opportunity to experience the natural beauty and tranquility of Ladakh. A visit to this lake makes it a memorable destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers.
