I guarantee that anyone who sees these photographs will definitely read about this place. Today's post is completely based on natural scene. I have climbed many mountains while trekking. But for the first time I have experienced walking on a frozen river. Yes, you heard it right, a frozen river that flows through the mountains. The main challenge here is the cold temperature here. In the photograph above, a tent can be seen on the banks of the river to rest those who feel tired during the walk.
The photographs of today's post are from Zanskar Valley. It is natural that the river flows through the valley. The valley got its name from the name of that river. So the river you see is Zanskar river. Zanskar Valley is located in Chilling district of Leh state of India. I have made a post on this topic before. But that photograph and this photograph are different. Zanskar river is also given another name as frozen river as this river is covered with ice sheet. In the open banks of this river, the ice is frozen on the banks of the river. At some places where the river passes between the mountains, there is a sheet of ice over the entire river.
If you look at the three photographs above in turn, you will see a slightly zoomed area in each photograph. 3 photographs have been presented here by zooming in three steps. In which a person is seen walking on the river in the valley between the mountains. In the first photograph, the person looks as small as a dot. But in the second photograph it becomes clear that there is a man walking on a river of ice. The man looks like an ant against the surrounding high mountains. Thus, the word ant is even bigger if you look at these photographs. But really this place is really amazing.
Above are 2 photographs in which the first photograph shows a group of people walking on the bank of a river. Along with walking, they are carrying their belongings on the snow. Here I have seen several times that goods are being loaded and transported on steel skids. So that the weight of the luggage does not have to be lifted and it comes easily with you. The scene looks very beautiful. While in the second photograph, tents made of stones can be seen on the banks of the river. Between the khaki mountains and the white river, those milky colored tents look beautiful.
This place has amazing beauty of nature. People come here from far and wide to enjoy it. I have shared 10 photographs with you in the above post.
