Hello, everyone! 🤗 As I embark on a culinary journey, I am delighted to introduce a delicacy featuring Lasia. This brings a unique and wholesome flavor to Sri Lanka's famous Lasia table. Lasia, also known as elephant yam, is a powerhouse of essential nutrients. Packed with vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber, it not only satisfies the taste buds but also contributes to a healthy and balanced diet. Let's take a look at the ingredients and the preparation process.
Ingredients:
Lasia 250g.
2 finely chopped onions.
Dried Sprats 50g.
3 green chilli pods
5 crushed garlic.
Curry leaves.
2 teaspoons of tamarind juice
1 teaspoons of crushed chili powder.
1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
1 teaspoons of sugar.
Salt as required
1 teaspoons of Pepper powder.
coconut oil 300ml .
Method of preparation.
1step :
First, take the Lasia tuber, remove its outer skin, wash it and cut it into thin pieces.
Then add turmeric powder and salt to the chopped Lasia and stir well.
Then take a pan and put oil in it and let it heat and fry prepared Lasia, Dried Sprats, green chilli pods, chopped onions, curry leaves separately till golden brown.
Then take a vessel and put 1 table spoon of oil in it and let it heat and add white salt to it. And add cinnamon, chilli, tamarind juice to it and mix well.
Then add fried Lasia, fried onions, curry leaves, raw chillies and mix it well. Now remove from heat.
Now you can enjoy a very nutritious and delicious lasia bite. It was a creative culinary experience for me as a food. And this can be kept for a week and added to food. It can also be served on special occasions. See you again with a food experience. good day.
