Minecraft Updates: We Stole Turtle eggs and found a Jungle Biome

in #hive-1402176 days ago

Hello and Welcome back to my blog!

Do you remember the last time when we tried to find a Jungle Biome in Minecraft, we got distracted by the snowy biome and collected a lot of ice instead? After a lot of searching, we couldn't find the Jungle biome, they are quite rare I think.

But we did not give up and kept searching for it. We passed by a beach with many Turtles. This was the first time we stopped to look at them closely. There was one turtle I saw way back at the start of our world, but on this beach, there were a lot of them.

We collected some Seagrass from the sea and fed them some. There was another group just next to this big one. We fed them too.

I was hoping they would lay some eggs instantly, but nope. It took them some time to lay the eggs on the sand. We noticed one of them flapping its hands and playing with the sand as if it were making a suitable place for the eggs. Soon, another one joined in, too.

The first one laid some eggs on the sand. That was the first time I saw the turtles laying eggs in Minecraft. I knew about it but never saw it happen.

And the best part is we could pick up those turtle eggs with our 'silktouch' pickaxe. I had it in my inventory so we stole all the eggs. These eggs take a long time to hatch and we planned to hatch them close to our base.

We fed them once again and moved on to find that Jungle biome so we could get some bamboo and grow it in our base. Collecting cocoa beans would also be great for making brown dye.

Finally, after days of searching and looking for a Jungle biome, we found one. It was a few thousand blocks away from our base.

We had to take the Jungle saplings with us along with some vines, cocoa beans and other unique blocks which are found only in this biome. While collecting all those items was our primary goal, I had another goal. The goal is to get me some pet parrots. They are found in this biome too.

I found a couple of beautiful-looking parrots. I tried feeding them cocoa seeds but they were not interested. Damn, I always thought they ate these seeds.

But turns out they eat the normal wheat seeds. I had to look for grass and collect some seeds. They are not satisfied with one either. One of them ate like 6 of them before he became my pet.

And look at that!

I wanted to get the blue one too but when I got back after collecting more seed it was not there. Ah, damn! I should have been quick.

We searched a lot for a blue one but it was nowhere to be seen. But there was another one I got already so I got that one instead.

They can sit on your shoulders and I love birds. We took everything we could. I wanted to look for a jungle temple too but we couldn't find one while searching for the blue bird maybe it was not there at all.

Now, we had to go back to our base. We took the help of a boat as it is much faster through the ocean and rivers than running around on the land.

But I noticed that my birds were not on my shoulders anymore. I thought they would teleport back once we went into the land. It happens with dogs and cats when we cross rivers or water. So, we kept going but when we reached the land and got out of the boat. They were not there. NOOO!

Maybe they can't come in other biomes.

We saw a familiar village coming back to our base. This was the same village where we kidnapped some villagers. We stopped to see how they were doing without two of their members. It was quieter than we last saw, I suspect some of them died because of zombies or other causes. I don't want to take the blame but it looks like we are involved in this somehow.

And the Ice we found earlier, we put some of it on our tunnel and we had a small boat race there. The tunnel was still unfinished and it wasn't wide enough to fit two boats side by side so calling it a race would not be accurate.

And did you think we would forget about our dogs? Not a chance. At least we have some puppies now to get over the unfortunate events of those parrots. I should go back and get them here. And this time not taking the boat, just walking all the way here. It would take a long time for that journey. Would it be too much work for a pair of birds? I don't know.

Until next time...

The first time seeing them laying eggs was really strange. I thought the sand were drawning them 😂

I am sorry you couldn't have your birds my love. You really loved them. But maybe next time we can try to come back while they are on your shoulders. Oh and not more than 2 please...

Take care of those turtle eggs that zombies love to crush them

Yup, they are safely in our chest will place them on sand later and protect them.

Minecraft is definitely not for me, hahaha.

I thought the same for years until I gave minecraft a go. At first I used to think how people can play game with just blocks, but once I get into it I quickly realised it is much more that meets the eye. The freedom to create anything is so impressive. Truely a near perfect sandbox game.

I really admire the level of freedom and creativity the game offers, but I greatly dislike it as a whole, haha.

hahaha... I understand.

The word stealing sounds really bad hahaha you should be careful with green peace or wildlife protectors, better say it more subtle like... we gave it a new home(? In a frying pan and fried hahahaha.
Ohhh dude how cool that you were able to take a parrot with you, they do indeed eat only the normal seeds but it's understandable the confusion.
