Wood Nymph is a Common Reward card from Earth splinter. This card has the "Tank Heal" at level 1. She deals with "magic" attack and is very helpful in assisting a tank card placed at the first position with her ability.
I will share my battle here, which I uploaded to 3speak.
Tell us about your lineup. Explain why you put each card in that position and why they are a good fit with the WOOD NYMPH.
This is my lineup for the battle
Position | Summoner/Monsters | Abilities |
---|---|---|
Summoner | Obsidian | +1 Magic damage |
Position 1 | Unicorn Mustang | Void |
Position 2 | Regal Peryton | Flying |
Position 3 | Venari Spellsmith | Dispel |
Position 4 | Wood Nymph | Tank Heal |
Position 5 | Khmer Princess | No Ability |
This was a high (27) mana battle. So, I chose "Obsidian" as my summoner as she gives +1 extra magic attacks to my magic monsters.
I used Unicorn Mustang as a Tank as I was expecting the opponent will choose to attack with magic and this card has the 'void' ability which reduces damage from the magic dealing monsters.
I used Regal Peryton on my 2nd position as this card is fast and there is a high chance of a miss with its 'flying' ability and the magic attack was a bonus for me.
Next was Venari Spellsmith a 4 mana card with 1 magic attack, this was enough for me as I was going for a heavy magic attack.
Wood Nymph was a critical part of the lineup, she healed my tank a couple of times and didn't let it die, which eventually lead me to an easy win. Khmer princess was an excellent filler card which gave me another magic attack with just 2 mana cost.
Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
Yes, my strategy worked, it was a simple strategy of a heavy magic attack with a strong and heavy tank in front to absorb those hits. The Wood Nymph helped in healing my tank and the strategy was a super success. If I have low mana battles, I might try to exclude the venari spellsmith from the lineup.
Do you like the WOOD NYMPH? Why or why not?
Yes, I like WOOD NYMPH very much, her 'tank heal' ability at level 1 makes her a good choice in mid to high mana range battles where we have a good heavy tank at the start of the lineup. I will try to use her much more in the future.
