Today's contest topic is one of those things that kinda gives you an eye-opener. To me, it made me realize that there are certain things right in front of us that we don't see unless we're really looking for them, almost like the "you don't know what you have until you lose it" kinda situation but on an entirely different level.
After I had read today's topic, I had decided to go through my phone to really look at the apps there in order to know what app on my phone that I could call useless, due to how little I use it or how irrelevant that app is to me.
And trust me when I say that I got shocked by the different kinds of apps I have on my phone, apps that if used properly would make my day to day life a lot easier, yet they all were long forgotten. Now, I can't just wait to be done making this post, so that I can go play with some of those apps and really really see what they can do.
But before we jump into the most irrelevant app I have on my phone right now, I first would like to quickly talk about the four most used apps on my phone. You see, I did a quick calculation in my head and I could say for a fact that the apps I use the most everyday are tiktok, discord, WhatsApp and Google Chrome.
I use WhatsApp for my daily texting. For some reason it's the only app I feel a lot comfortable texting in, while I use discord mainly for work related activities. I don't really text much on discord unless someone texts me first or maybe I have a direct question to ask someone, those are mainly the reasons why I use discord.
Google Chrome is the app I use to access the internet and just browse about whatever it is I want to know. I also have Brave browser but rarely makes use of it, I think there's something really cool about chrome's UI designs that just resonates so well with me that makes me use the app a lot.
The last on that list which funny enough is the app I spend the most time on is tiktok. And this is mainly because I do have short attention span and prefer watching shorter videos and tiktok's UI is so user friendly that I could spend all day on that app and not get tired. The only reason I do get off the app sometimes is because of the data consumption, that's all... If not, I probably would spend all day there.
Another reason why I spend so much time there is because I most times stay by myself indoors and would rather just prefer watching these videos on my phone than go out to try to talk to people.
Anyways, now that you all know that, it's time to tell you guys what the most irrelevant app on my phone is and it's none other than the Weather report app.

I know, trust me I know it's not an irrelevant app, as a matter of fact, it should one of the most important apps in everyone's phone. But trust me when I say that over here in Nigeria, I doubt even 10% of people who have mobile phones makes use of that app.
No one ever cares to check the weather report for the day to know if it's going to rain so that they could take an umbrella with them, all we do is walk outside, look at the sky, and if it's bright and sunny, then we don't need an umbrella. Then we go to work and when it starts to rain, you hear people complaining about how it was nice and sunny this morning and how they could have brought an umbrella if they knew it was going to rain.
Thinking about it is crazy because like I said, that is such an important app and it's a shame no one uses it over here.
