This year, I resolved to change things positively in my life with several promises awaiting realization at the year's end. These resolutions do not stand just as goals; rather, they are promises made for self-improvement towards a happy life.
The primary resolution I have made is self-care and self-love. Previously, I neglected my needs for taking care of others or was too much absorbed in work and other responsibilities. This year, I will devote time and remember to keep the activity going for self-care every now and then, including taking time to relax, do things that feel good to do, and pay some attention to physical and mental health.
Also, I will be devoting to my physical wellness and fitness, so healthier choices will be made with nutrition and exercise this year. I plan to add more fruits and veggies into my diet, along with making time for regular workouts whether it is running, taking yoga classes, or just a simple walk outside. I know that I will feel live supported and more confident in every aspect of my life when taking care of my body.
Another resolution I have made is to acquire personal growth and development. This year, I will try to acquire new skills, develop my passions, and come out of my comfort zone. I plan to start new activities, continue with further education, and try new things to challenge myself. By pushing myself continually to grow and evolve, I know that I'd, in turn, become a better person, thus living a fulfilling life.
I have decided to make mental and emotional health my top priority this year. I will practice mindfulness, manage my stress levels, and find support whenever it is necessary. I will also find time for myself to unwind and relax, be it through meditation, promotion of those I love or journaling, to recharge for whatever life throws my way. I believe that through caring for my head, I will ensure that my mind is better prepared to handle all of life's challenges.
In the end, this year of resolution is supposed to be about taking back my life and putting myself in a good position for self-help in the years to come. I will first of all embark on self-care, physical health, personal growth, and mental well-being. It is by setting resolutions and planning possible outcome accountability that I feel I might become the best version of myself and subsequently lead a more fulfilling and happy life. Here's to a year of growth, self-discovery, and transformation.
