Good day, Hivers. I hope everything is going well for everyone. Another week has passed with me being extremely busy at work in the office. That is why, this weekend, we deserve to treat ourselves to get some fun and, above all, to thank the Lord for the graces he has bestowed upon us.
I'm really looking forward to this weekend because I'll be able to go on a food trip with my friends and family. I started my day with optimism because I know I can make a lot of my time productive.
-Friday stroll with Friends-
My colleagues @jeennicious and @explorewithsasha invited me to join them for a coffee break after work and catch up with @queenmeiko22 since we haven’t seen each other in awhile. We went to IT Park Cebu to sample the best coffee at Coffee Bay. When we first entered the store, I was struck by the beauty of the ambiance, the cleanliness, and the aroma of coffee. We had alfresco dining outside because the inside was too crowded, and it was fine with fresh air and not too crowded. I'm so glad to see them today; it's just so lovely that you can be together, laugh, and enjoy the moment.
Sunday stroll
We often forget to give thanks for the blessings we have received because we are too busy, so we will take some time today to worship. I and my significant others went to basilica del santo nino church for the two o'clock mass. We were near the top of the pilgrims, and the sun wasn't too hot at the time. There aren't many people either. It's great that the priest can preach because I personally can relate to his homily. What I will never forget is what he said about how we all have a turning point in our lives that can either make or break us. The true miracle is seen in the transformation of our lives, not in the blessings we receive. We went straight to SM City Cebu after church because we were starving and wanted to try our favorite burger at Zarks. Their burgers are just right for a snack. Aside from being delicious, the prices are also reasonable.
Not everyone has the opportunity to spend quality time with their loved ones, so if you have the chance to do so, seize it and embrace the moment. That’s it for today hivers and I hope you all have an amazing weekend. Stay safe and healthy always.
