Hello everyone! Welcome to the DIY community, a community that allows you to show your craft talent and learn from different people from different countries.
Today I will be making a beach chair. I know that sounds funny, but I just thought of making something different from the usual recycling materials.
So I made this beautiful beach chair and table from the usual items we all have at home all over the world.
When crafting, you have to get a clear picture of what you want to do; if not, a slight mistake might destroy everything. More so, I find crafting fun to do, and that is why it always comes out beautifully.
Materials are:
Matches three packs
Gum
Pen
Toothbrush
Carton
Round cover plastic
Scissors
Process
I placed the plastic cover on a carton and then made use of a pen to draw a circle shape out.
Then I made use of scissors to cut the round shape out.
I made use of the toothbrush to apply gum to the round shape.
After that, I started placing the matches stick on it one after the other. But I made sure to arrange it well, then I set it aside to dry.
I proceed by cutting a small square shape from the carton in two places.
I applied gum to each of them and then started to place the matchstick on it until there was no space on the carton again. I set them aside to dry. While I continued with the round shape because it was dry already.
I made use of scissors to cut the excess stick at the edges.
I applied gum under it, then placed four sticks that will serve as the legs of the table. I realized that the matchstick was too tiny, so I brazen it with tiny cartons, and it stands.
I applied gum under the square shapes as well; I placed four sticks of matches under them, then brazen it as well.
After it had dried, I did the back where someone could rest their back. I applied gum on each stick to make the backside.
I allowed them to dry for thirty minutes before snapping the final picture.
Now the beautiful beach relaxing chair is ready.
