Being a vegan is never a bad idea; it's just that some people might not be able to cope with switching from eating meat and fish to eating ordinary veggies because it is another way of life entirely.
Ever since I was little, I was raised with fish and meat, which means my body system is used to eating them, so switching to being vegan might be a little bit difficult for me to cope with because I love meat a lot.
Switching to being a vegan is never going to be an easy task for someone like me who can't do a day without fish or meat. In fact, I love meat a lot, so for that reason, I don't think I can become a vegan.
Don't get me wrong. Vegans are healthy people; in fact, I can say they are healthier than some people who eat meat or fish because their food is always fresh and nutritious as well. But still, I can't become vegetarian since I am used to meat right from little.

This prompt reminds me of when I was little, when my mom couldn't afford fish, not to mention meat, and still, I always craved it anytime I saw it because I wanted to have a taste of it.
Then my mom noticed how much her children always craved fish and meat, so instead of depriving us of eating it, she promised to always ensure we ate enough of it over the weekend because she earned wages back then, and the weekend was payday.
Despite eating meat and fish mostly on weekends, I still can't do without eating them because, naturally, I am not a vegan.

Now let me answer the prompt questions.
Can I attempt being a vegan? For someone like me who was raised with meat and fish, I can't attempt to be vegan simply because I can't imagine eating without fish or meat anymore.
Like I said before, I love meat, so craving meat alone can send me to the grave if I attempt to be a vegetarian. I love veggies, but still, I love seeing meat or fish inside my food.
How long can I last before going back to my usual way of life? Haha 😂 I can't last two days before running back to my old eating habits because ever since I became an adult,t I promised myself to eat fish and meat a lot since I didn't have enough of it when I was little. So being a vegetarian is not a bad thing,g but I can't imagine my life without fish or meat.
Is vegan a healthier way of living? Absolutely yes, because looking at what most vegans eat shows they are healthier, and they don't eat fish or meat that has been frozen for days, so yes, it is a good way of living for those who are vegan.
I am not condemning the vegan lifestyle, but it won't just work for me. I have tried some vegan recipes before, and even though my spouse enjoys them, there is always something missing when I eat them, and that something is either fish or meat.
