It is normal for many people to constantly seek motivation in life. Motivation can be influenced by internal or external factors that drive a person to take action in their life.

There are numerous examples of motivation. Some people are motivated when they eat delicious food, while others are motivated by images or things they see. For instance, if you want to achieve a great physique, looking at a bodybuilder's poster can motivate you to endure the challenges of a physical workout. Similarly, seeing beautiful things like cars, houses, and items you desire can motivate you to work harder and think about how to attain them.
Motivation also comes from the encouragement of people, such as loved ones pushing you to become a better version of yourself each day. This is why motivational speakers have become popular, as many seek motivation to inspire them in fulfilling their life plans.
Motivational quotes are also widespread, with many people sharing them on their social media.
However, I've noticed that most people are only affected by positive motivations. People often accept only the good motivations that appeal to their senses. But what I want to convey is that there are things, even if they may not seem good at first, that can still motivate us. What about those negative things?
For example, growing up in poverty can be a motivation to strive for a better life. Many successful individuals have been motivated by the hardships they faced, excelling in their respective fields.
During my workout days, my motivation to lose weight came from looking at myself in the mirror. The reflection was not pleasant, an overweight and unhealthy person. That motivated me to diet and work out. Now, I feel the need to face the mirror again because I gained weight during the recent holidays. Hahaha.
Criticism in life, when heard, should not depress us but motivate us to do better. We shouldn't carry it in our hearts, turning it into hatred.
Life events have also given me motivation. During the pandemic, when people couldn't go out to work, I was motivated to learn new skills that could be useful during such times. I learned online skills for home-based income like online selling.
In truth, I believe we shouldn't actively seek motivation in life because it's already there beside us. Evaluate your life, consider if that's truly what you want, look at the negative aspects, and use them as motivation.
But remember, no matter how much motivation is in the world, no matter how great the speaker is, without discipline in life, motivation is meaningless.
