It’s time for another Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge, and this week, we’re focusing on knowledge-sharing! Let's get normies on board and let them join this amazing world!
Our insights have the potential to transform the early days of every new player's Splinterlands journey, offering guidance and strategies that unlock the game's full potential.
Dont' forget to use your link when onboarding them... as the new ambassador program has juicy perks! Let's dive in and learn all about it!
Under the old Affiliate Program, ambassadors earned 5% of their referrals’ lifetime purchases of select items like Card Packs and Summoner Spellbooks. The new Ambassador Program replaces this system, offering a broader range of earning opportunities and improved transparency.
The Ambassador Program is designed to reward players who actively bring new users into Splinterlands. By sharing a unique referral link, ambassadors can earn rewards based on the activities of the players they refer.
This program is a significant improvement over the previous Affiliate Program, offering more comprehensive rewards and better aligning with the community’s objectives, as outlined in a recent DAO proposal.
The old one was kinda lame, with useless credits earned for each battle mage that I onboarded to Splinterlands. The new Ambassador Program includes Silvder and Gol reward tiers, each offering different benefits.
All referrals from the previous Affiliate Program were reset. Only new referrals made under the Ambassador Program are eligible for rewards.
How to Participate in the Ambassador Program? Log on Splinterlands and click on your the setting wheel near your username, in the top-right corner, then select "Ambassador Status," and copy your unique referral link.
Share your Splinterlands link with friends and encourage them to sign up, ensuring they create their account immediately after clicking the link to ensure the referral is registered. You can track your referrals and earnings by visiting the "Ambassador Status" page.
To qualify for the Silver Tier you need to refer at least one friend. Benefits include both you and your referral earning 500 Credits when they purchase a Spellbook. Additionally, you will earn 5% of your referral’s end-of-season Glint rewards, up to 100% of your own EOS Glint earnings.
The Gold Tier is special, and harder to reach! You must have at least 10 referrals who have spent $100 or more on purchases. The spending spree can be across primary, secondary, or rental markets.
The benefits of this tier include all the Silver Tier perks, along with a 5% bonus paid in DEC on packs purchased by your referrals from the in-game shop. You will also earn 1% of your referrals’ peer-to-peer transactions, with a minimum payout of 0.001 DEC per transaction.
We are talking about a plethora of bounties! These rewards offer a fantastic opportunity to earn passive income while contributing to the growth of the Splinterlands community.
Does PVM have tips for success? To maximize your success, promote Splinterlands enthusiastically through social media, gaming forums, and local events. Highlight the game’s unique play-to-earn model and vibrant community.
Help your referrals understand the game’s mechanics, including how to purchase Spellbooks and earn rewards. Staying updated on program changes and game updates will help ensure your efforts remain effective. Additionally, make use of community resources, such as in-game benefits, FAQs, and official content to support your outreach.
Check your "Ambassador Status" page to confirm your referrals, and check the payments received! If there’s an issue, you can submit a support ticket with details about the referral account and the expected reward.
