I have gone through many post in this community, and I have seen a lot of beautiful pictures of beautiful places, which everyone will love to to see.
So I decided to remind us all that, there are other side of the world as well, for some places are not beautiful nor attractive.
I had my #wednesdaywalk in this area to make some clarification about a place we call Lagos Island in Nigeria.
As a Nigerian, anytime they hear the name 'Lagos Island', they only think of beautiful locations like Lekki, Ajah, Banana Island or Victoria Island.
Neither they don't know that, there are core ghetto in Lagos Island as well.
Therefore, people leaving in this areas are not poor rather they are not rich, the barriers in those areas is that, the cost of living there is way more compare to their earnings, and the area is over populated. People find it difficult to pay rent.
People are living in a difficult situation, sleeping outside with their money in there pockets, whereas, if they get to some other region of the country, they are rich people.
The question is that, why don't they leave for other region?
That is where they make their sales.
