The way we see, enjoy and appreciate art is meant to be different, an art that tells a sad tale to some people would also tell a happy tale to other people, that’s because of the differences in their views. This is a normal occurrence, and that is because of how different our level of understanding is, an art is meant to tell a story. When you see someone that deeply understands art you would know without much stress, same way you will find it easy to tell apart someone who is no lover of art. I was never a lover of art, i only started loving it when I started seeing it constantly, seeing different artists and their artworks daily made me a forced lover, at first i didn’t think much of it as i only saw it as something without deep meaning, I only appreciated the beauty and craftsmanship of the artist and it artwork, as time went by I started seeing art as something more than a drawing, I started seeing it as a story…
The more i see artworks the more i read different meanings to them, it has gotten to the stage that i now give stories to those without stories, including the ones drawn for beautification and decoration….

An art is meant to have a purpose, either to convey a message or just for beautification. I agree that not all art should have a meaning attached to it but then majority of it should have a hidden message behind it. This hidden message makes the art more important and valuable. Not many people out there are a lover of art, we have just few people who understand art and many people who love it mainly because of its beauty and simplicity. When an ordinary art lover sees a painting he sees simplicity and beauty, when an artist sees a painting he sees the hidden messages behind it, it could be a story of pain, happiness or despair. Not many of us are blessed with the understanding of art, which is why we just appreciate it external qualities…
It would be easy for a random art lover to dispose of a worn out piece of art while those that loves and understands every piece of art will never dispose of a piece of artwork for any reason. The higher your level of understanding of art the more valuable every piece is to you. There is no harm in loving and enjoying an art because of it external qualities, be it for its simplicity or beauty-wise. It is not bad, but then only a true art lover, I mean someone who understands art better would know the value of any piece…
In summary, we gain something from every piece of art we see or purchase, there is beautification, admiration and positivity. This is what art gives out to different people, especially to those who understands it deeply and better…
