Welcome back to my post, @queen-silvia. Today, I am gonna share some photographs of Waterfall, Jungles and a Black Langur, it's a species of monkey which is belong to Cercopitheceae. The Waterfall is located in Kediri, East Java, Indonesia. It's not far from my home so I decided to go there, take some pictures, enjoy the waterfall, and put it in blog so that we all can enjoy together. The distance between my home and the waterfall is 26 kilometers and it took 48 minutes (Based on google map) to get there. The Waterfall is located at Wilis Mountain area so the travel from home to waterfall is a bit hard since we are going up (against gravitational force) but the return ride to home is way easier since we are going down (in line with the gravitational force).
In my way to the Waterfall, I stopped several times to take some beautiful landscape in the right and left side of the road. Since we are at mountain area, there are some nice photographs of pine trees, Teak tress, Wild Bush.
Dolo Waterfall is belong to Besuki Tourist area. So here is the entrance gate where the visitors has to pay the entrance ticket. It's pretty cheap in my opinion, only 50 cent and we can enjoy some tourist destinations in Besuki like Dolo and Irenggolo Waterfall. This post will share about some photos of Dolo Waterfall since I haven't go to Irenggolo waterfall. I will go to Irenggolo on Saturday or sunday. I hope there are many tourist went to that waterfall on weekend.
In the Besuki Entrance gate some people took pictures with their friend because it's one of the favorite destination place in Kediri. There are many tourism spots in here but I only discover Dolo Waterfall yesterday. On this weekend, I'll travel with my mom to discover all of the vacation spots and take some photographs there.
I found a unique building during my journey to the Dolo Waterfall. The local people said it's a place to see the beautiful landscape in the Wilis mountain area. Well, to me it looks like a tower to spy the enemy movements in the battlefield, ha ha, (just kidding, that's my imagination only).
Here is another unique I spot I found. This is the garden full of roses. There are two gates followed by ladder so that the visitors can enjoy walking beside the garden. The ladder provides nice place for the visitor if they want to take their pictures with a bunch of flowers.
I really want to take the pictures of flowers too but I went to the waterfall at 3 PM so I have to hurry up and go to the waterfall quickly before it gets dark.
Here is the cliff along the journey. It looks so beautiful in my opinion, so I stopped again and take some pictures. As we can see, there are some other people who take photographs with the cliff. We have to be careful though since this area is prone to landslide.
So wonderful isn't? Whenever I see this landscape, It always remind me to the Jurassic Park film. Those leaves are usually being eaten by Brontosaurus.
After riding for more than 1 hours (I think it was 1 hour and 30 minutes, longer than expected because I stopped several times in the way), Finally we arrived in the Dolo Waterfall. "Air Terjun" is Indonesian language and it means "Waterfall". (Air : Water and Terjun : falling).
And here is the whole view of the tourism spot when we arrived. There are some buildings like toilet and rest area. I love the trees above the building. It looks very good. The mountain area is always amazed people. It's the scenery that we never seen in our daily life.
We have to go down using ladder to get into the waterfall. it takes around 1.5 hours to walk from the spot when we arrived to the waterfall.
Well, Since I came around 4 PM, I was alone in the forest, all visitors were already going back because the day is getting dark. I keep convinced myself that I have to reach the waterfall because I have gone this far. no way to postpone the visit to the waterfall.
I keep walking alone going down the forest. I am totally alone and fell like I was lost. I am getting scared. I was afraid that the groups of wild animals like snake, tiger or wild boar will come and attack me. my legs started shaking.
There's a food stall but it's empty. The owner has returned to their home. Well, this will be an unforgettable experience for me.
Never going to the forest alone, especially when the day is getting dark.
I promise to myself to go to the forest only in the morning and with my friends. I will never go alone again.
My feeling is mixed when I saw Black Langur eating fruit at the top of the forest. I am happy because I found a wild animal but I also afraid that they might attack me š
. This is the first time I saw wild animal in the forest alone. Not in the zoo.
Honestly I am getting more scared when I saw the wooden ruins. It's falling from the main tree. Well I know it's scary but I have to keep being positive here. It's funny to remember that I was afraid what if landslide happened and I can't go back home ha ha ha. So what I was doing is going down faster before the days getting dark.
And.... Finally guys, I arrived at the Waterfall. I am so happy that I can see the waterfall at the end. There are three parts of the waterfall. The first part is the longest. The second and third part is not that long but it's still wonderful. The water is so pure and clean. We can see the bottom of the water flow very clearly.
I really really want to put my legs in this pure water but I can't. The time is already 5:30 PM and I have to go up again before the day is getting dark. I think there will be next chance to visit this waterfall another time with my family and in the morning.
This is the forest in the waterfall area. As we can see, no one here, I am all alone, ha ha.
And this is the photographs of Giant Stone in the Waterfall. There will always be Giant stone in every waterfall as far as I know.
