Noble Words : Love makes life sweeter!

in #hive-15032910 days ago

Last few days, I was busy attending my cousion's wedding (more to come on it later). It was sister things, and we use to poke each other with various jokes and punches. Marriages can either be like 'heaven' or 'hell'. It solely depends upon the groom and the bride. The two are suppose to create a favourable atmosphere to live a happy life. Our ancient vedas have following transcript to mention the condition about marriages

अनुकूलकलत्रो यस्तस्य स्वर्ग इहैव हि|

प्रतिकूल कलत्रस्य नरको नात्र संशयः||

Anukoola kalatro yastaya svarg ihaiva hi.
Pratikool kalatrasya narako naatra samshayah.

Anukool = favourable, friendly.
Kalatro = wife.
Yastasta = yah + tasya.
Yah = whosoever.
Tasya = his.
Svarga = the heaven.
Ihaiva = iha + aiva.
Iha = here.
Aiva = really
Hi = surely
Pratikool = against.
Narako = the hell.
Naatra = na + atra.
Na = not.
Atra = here.
Sanshayah = doubt.

If the wife of a person is favorable and friendly towards him, he gets all the comforts as if he is living in Heaven. However, if she is hostile and against him, then there is no doubt that he will feel as if he is living in the Hell.

A married life can be considered "heaven and hell" because it has the potential to be incredibly fulfilling and joyful, with deep intimacy and shared experiences. But it can also be a source of significant stress, conflict, and unhappiness if not nurtured and managed well, with the challenges of compromise, communication issues, and personal growth sometimes feeling like a form of torment.

In my personal opinion, Whether a marriage feels like "heaven" or "hell" largely depends on the couple's ability to communicate openly, practice empathy, work through challenges together, and prioritize their commitment to each other.

Learning is Passion!!
