I recently joined the #ping mission, which was organized by @wil.metcalfe and @comet.ranker.
During this challenge, I was able to visit the accounts of my followers and read one of @dearw recent posts, in which she mentioned the Hive Nails Community.
It grabbed my attention because I enjoy doing my nails, extensions, and nail art.
Then, just a few days ago, I received a late Christmas gift for a salon treatment at a nail/eyelash/brow salon, and I chose nail extensions using polygel.
I've tried fake nail extensions before, but not with polygel. They claimed it would last a lot longer.
Brows and Shine is the name of the salon, which is located on the second floor of Ayala Central Bloc in IT Park Cebu, just beside the Converse store.
I discovered this nail salon on Facebook. They promoted their current promotion, which runs until January 31. I checked their website and was immediately impressed by their offers and packages. I was looking for a nail salon, and this one was a little cheaper, but the reviews were excellent.
I then messaged them for an appointment, and despite the fact that they were fully booked, they were able to find me a spot two days later.

I selected a French tip design. They asked if it was my first time using a polygel extension, and I said yes. The staff were extremely friendly and took the time to explain the benefits of the product and how it would last longer than traditional fake nail extensions. (There's no need to carry around nail glue in case your nail breaks. 😅)
So they cleaned my nails first, then tried on nail tips that fit my nails. They prepared my nails and applied UV-cured nail tips. Then I cut the tips to the length I wanted my nails to be.
The polygel was then applied and cured under the UV lamp light, followed by the gel color. All of this took nearly 2 hours, and I didn't even notice the time passing. Maybe it's because I enjoy doing my nails. After my nails, I got a pedicure (cleaning my toenails). This is free because I took advantage of their promotional offer.
If you're looking for a nail service in Cebu City, I recommend this shop. They are excellent, and in addition to nail services, they also provide eyelash extensions/perms and brow threading. All of the information is available on their facebook page.
I'm pleased with how my nails turned out. Girls aren't difficult to please, haha. 😍
According to the nail technician, it will last for at least 20 days and up to a month. I will look forward to it and will definitely return here when I want to do my nails again, possibly with a different design. Hopefully, I'll be able to bring some of my friends with me next time.
