I do Like the idea of controlling your character play, being immersed in storyline. And the graphics looks great,
Is this game on steam? And does it support use of a gaming pad? I'm still scouting and making a list of games I'd love to play. So far, I've only gotten Valheim.

No, unfortunately it's not on Steam. That's also my biggest disappointment because I love having my games on Steam library even though they still start via other platforms too... but this one is not on Steam yet.
Though, you can easily find the rest of the series on Steam that comes with some big discounts from time to time, so you might want to try these first and perhaps play the other games of the series until they will add FC6 on Steam as well.
By gaming pad you mean a controller? If you mean a controller then yep, it has support for that but it's still a lot easier to play from keyboard and mouse because it's a shooter game in most of the time 😊
