Ten photo etudes from some recent walks across the city central streets and squares. I had a stroll across Nevsky prospect, Manezhnaya square and visited the Christmas Fair. The city full of festive mood is a gift for a camera man, like me! 🐈
Champagne and tangerines - A New Year celebration timeless classic!
He has got some festive dress as well! :)
This Santa was greeting everybody near Gostinniy Dvor shopping mall. His huge bag was is promising, isnt it?
Carousel.
The festively decorated alley in front of the skating ring; it was impossible for me to tear myself away from it...
A special bonus for those who reached the end of my post. (No, its not a promise to give away 10 HIVE to each person who alert me on reading this)))) just a little extra to the bouqiet: a standstill I witnessed at a local waste. Some stranger, while bringing them to the trash bin all the empty vodka and cognac bottles he consumed during the holidays, constructed out of them this Christmas still life - clearly bragging about the quantity and variety of what he drank! Isnt it charming? St.Petersburg is the artsy cultural capitol of Russia, lets dont forget about it! We have bits of culture scattered everywhere over the place here... -- here, there, really everywhere! lol.
Ok - let me round up here, thanks for walking with me, and see you next time!
