I am sitting alone right now in my living room thinking of what do to. I came here to Hive to have fun since I’m bored then my siblings came to the living room and we began to gist about the bad road that leads to our house.
Now, we have always blamed the government for not repairing the bad roads. A lot of us usually feel the governor or president is the problem but we should never forget that we have local government chairman, ward chairman and so on.
The governor of the state where we live in visited our area three weeks ago to check the bad road. I’m sure he must have heard about how bad our road is.
Now, the governor explained how it worked. We have to remember that the governor or president can’t be everywhere so what they do is ask the local government chairman or others to list the bad roads and they choose the one they’d do if at least the can’t do all but this is where favoritism comes in.
He mentioned that some people will make their list and write about the road that leads to their family house instead of going for the one that is worse.
They don’t care about the people who find it hard to drive because of how bad the road is.
That’s some selfish interest and this is not only in government but everywhere. I care for my family a lot too but I don’t always ignore the fact that there are other people and they need to be cared for too.
It’s also funny that after four years, these people who didn’t care about us will come to the streets, sharing all the things they bought with their looted fund just because they want us to vote for them. It’s crazy how they feel we have forgotten how they treated us by ignoring the fact that we need something.
Well, the government can’t satisfied everyone but they should at least listen to us.
What’s your take on this?
