Hello to my beautiful friends in the Hive Learners community. I’m delighted to be with you all today. I didn’t post any video last Sunday because of the Eid Fitr festival. I was too busy so I could not touch my phone at all.
I’m back again today and I’d be giving you an amazing song. For today, the title of the song I’d be giving y’all is “When I was your man” by Bruno Mars. I’m sure I’d get some fans of Bruno here today. I’ve been familiar with this song since a very longtime now and I didn’t want to start thinking about a song to rehearse coupled with the fact that I went to my Granny’s place as usual.
What’s the theme of the song?
The theme of the song is about heartbreak. In this song and with the lyrics, we can tell that the artiste is heartbroken. I guess Bruno Mars was heartbroken when he was singing this song.
The artiste expressed himself in this song with the way he never treated his woman right at first and the way he never bought flowers for her which was one thing she has always wanted.
With the lyrics in this song, you’d get some imageries because it was like a flashback of memories or the things the artiste did with his lady and the times they spent together.
