Freedom is not worth having if it doesn't involve freedom to make mistakes.
By now this statement should have become cliche but there is so much wisdom in these words.
I remind myself of these words everyday because we are imperfect beings who crave perfection and it is so easy to blame ourselves for something we did or didn't do.
I sing to my soul that I am better than the silly mistakes of yesterday.
My consolation is the fact that I know better, I believe that you're only a failure today if you did not learn from the mistakes of yesterday.
We as humans learn very deeply from our experiences, the lessons stick longer than merely hearing it from someone else.
Just like the popular saying, "Experience is the best teacher".
Tell me who doesn't want to learn from the best?
When we realize that we have made mistakes, it is an indication that there was a better way to handle a situation.
Maybe something you could have said or done. The situation would surely present itself and that right there! is not the true test of success or failure..
You're not a failure because you didn't get it right, the first time or even the next.
If you ask me, a life without mistakes is an impossible life.
Nobody is perfect so why should we pretend to be?
Making mistakes is part of the learning process and in life there's no stage that learning ends, it is continuous.
Thank you for stopping by Today, I hope you do it again.😊
