Hello, fellow hivians 😎

It has been a while since I've written a 'slice of life' blog on hive... mainly because life has been slow recently.

We've been saving up for our holidays for the last six months, but finally the time arrived, and a few days ago we jetted off to the sunnier climate of Southern Spain.

Playa De Mojacar is quiet resort in the province of Murcia, near to Almeria in Spain.

One of the first things I noticed was how beautiful the whitewashed buildings are. There are no high-rise buildings allowed in either the resort, or the main hill town of Mojacar Pueblo, meaning it retains much of its traditional Spanish charm.

Some buildings are domed, paying homage to the region's ancient moorish history.

We spent the first morning wandering down the promenade following the palm-lined path past resturants and beach bars.

This walkway also has a dedicated cycle lane, and the occasional low-walled garden that house flowering bushes, palms and cactus.

After a rather disappointing lunch which cost far too much money, we vowed to work out where the best local tapas places were later before setting up camp on the beach to give our Brit skin some much needed sun.

The beach at Playa de Mojacar is wide and long, but a little windy this time of year. But the sun felt so good on my skin, and I love swimming in the sea anywhere in the world... although the locals seemed to think i was a bit mad 😂

As we wandered back home in the afternoon I spotted the amazing succulent plant (photographed above) that reminded me of the fractal nature of life.

This plant expressess the sacred geometry of The Fibonacci Sequence, pointing to the prevalence of repeating patterns in nature. This resonated with me as the last few years have been hard financially, and certainly the crypto bear market was no picnick, but what goes around comes around, and now I'm sat I the sun enjoying a well earned holiday.

I wish everyone the best for the upcoming bull run.

Bye for now.

Please keep an eye on my blog over the next 10 days for more articles about my holiday in this area of Spain.

although the locals seemed to think I was a bit mad

True! I would get a heart attack getting in that water right now, but as you're used to colder climates and swimming, you are probably fine and I'd say, enjoy it!

Bienvenido en españa!

Muchas gracias mi amiga 🙂

Lol, i have to be honest... the sea was cold even for me when i first got in, but once i was used to it pleasant enough. There were more people swimming in the sea today, as the wind was very mild, but still only six people i counted 🤣

It is nice to know there are other crazy people in the world tho 😜😂
