As the year comes to a close and we have kick started a new year, I've taking some time to reflect on my progress on the Hive blog. It's been a wild ride, with plenty of ups and downs, but I'm proud to say that I've made some significant strides despite selling all my earnings to meet up with family needs as things where rough . I'll share some of my thoughts on my journey so far, and what I've learned from my experiences.
The Early Days
When I first started on Hive, I was excited to share my thoughts and ideas with the community. I wrote about a variety of topics, from personal development to cryptocurrency, and slowly but surely, I started to build up a my portfolio starting with get some coins on hive engine to boost my second layer portfolio. My posts were well-received, and I was encouraged by the feedback and support from my fellow Hive members through upvotes and directives on how to navigate and stay focus on the blogging aspect with the introduction of some tokens and community which supports active community members and users who stakes thier token. However, as time went on, I started to face some challenges. The Hive market can be volatile, and the rewards for my posts were inconsistent. Some days, I would earn a decent amount of Hive, while others, I would earn almost nothing. It was frustrating, but I tried to stay positive and focus on creating quality content. Although it was encouraging getting some few likes and haven't still found enough time to properly create a credible network on the hive blockchain but am hoping to do that this year.
Despite putting some of my best efforts, I found myself struggling to make ends meet especially when it comes to making a living offline while having a family to cater for. I had to sell all my Hive earnings just to cover my living expenses. It was a tough decision, but I had to prioritize my financial stability. I know that many of my fellow Hive members have faced similar challenges, and I'm not alone in this struggle, as inflation has eatten deep into our countries economy and most persons are managing to get by the day.
And Despite selling all my liquid earnings in hbd and powering done my accounts , I've continued to make progress on my Hive blog. I've written more posts, engaged with the community, and even collaborated with other members on some exciting projects. My follower count has grown, and I've received more upvotes and comments on my posts. It's been a slow and steady climb, but I'm proud of what I've achieved so far.
Lessons Learned
As I reflect on my journey, I've learned some valuable lessons. First and foremost, I've learned the importance of perseverance and consistency as the community turns up for you when you least expected. Although with the challenges I've faced, I've continued to write and engage with the community. I've also learned the value of building relationships and networking with other members. Finally, I've learned to be patient and not to get too discouraged by setbacks on stuffs I couldn't achieve over the years. I will try to engage more by giving out more comments and participating in contest to boost my engagement
As I also look ahead to navigating this new year, I'm excited to see what the future holds for my Hive blog. I'm planning to continue writing and creating quality content, and I'm hoping to attract more followers and engagement. I'm also looking to collaborate with other members on some exciting projects, and I'm open to new opportunities and challenges.
In conclusion, my Hive blog progress has been a mixed bag and I hope to do better this year with the bull run propelling the market for a new roller-coaster I hope to key into the market dynamics before the train leaves the station. While I've faced some challenges and had to sell all my earnings, I've continued to make progress and grow as a writer and community member. I'm proud of what I've achieved so far, and I'm excited to see what the future holds. If you're a fellow Hive member, I'd love to hear about your experiences and progress. Let's support each other and continue to build a thriving community on Hive.
Happy new year with lots of love and laughers.
