My top three pictures

Pictures help bring back memories; they help put a smile on our faces, while some don't, depending on the scenario that surrounds such pictures. As humans, we tend to take pictures of good times than the bad times , and this is just in case we want to replicate that action and beautiful memories unlike the ones that doesn't being much joy to us. I'm not a picture type, but the few ones I do take, there are some certain situations backing such pictures if I eventually take one.

In response to this week's prompt, three pictures that have a history to me or that I find important to keep. Well, these pictures might not hold much importance, but I keep them for future references because I know a day is coming when I will need them either to replicate or to correct.

The first on my best picture is a picture of myself, which was taken by a friend of mine. I love having my loved ones around me; that brings joy and gladness to my heart. Hearing from them and getting to meet them is always a happy time for me. A longtime friend of mine visited me, and we decided to go out and have fun. Having enough time to catch back on old times and discuss how far we have both gone in our journey in life. Sometimes when we lose those ones we hold so dear to our hearts, not to sickness but due to separation such as relocation or misunderstanding, we do feel their absence in our lives, but nevertheless, life must go on. But for the few ones that are still closer to us in one way or another, it's good to celebrate them.

My second picture here is a picture of food cooked by my mom during the Easter celebration. I just love good food; no wonder I was given a chef as a mother. During the Easter celebration, my mom cooked Chinese rice, and that is the first food I will see her cook without seasoning, and it was delicious. I kept craving more after the celebration, but I've not been opportune to have a taste of it again, but sure I will soon. As humans, we do claim we can't eat certain foods because we've never tasted them or they are not from our tribe, but it takes trying. I remembered when my mom was telling me about the food. I told her I couldn't eat it because of some of the ingredients. Little did I know that it would turn out so nice, and it did.

The third picture is a snack that was highly hyped in Nigeria a few months ago; people were advertising it on social media. Some turned bakers overnight, and everyone wants to be a milky doughnut vendor. I wondered who came up with such an idea; although it wasn't a bad one, I must say, that idea was misused and misinterpreted by many. This snack was used to lure many young girls who wanted to have a taste of the snack but couldn't afford it into immoral acts because it was quite expensive. I got a pack of three for #4,500. I decided to buy and have a taste because of how it was being hyped, but at the end, I regretted getting it because it wasn't worth the hype at all. Then I wondered how young girls are being deceived by such nonsense. I took the picture and kept it to show my younger sister when she is a bit older to understand how life is and explained the history behind milky doughnuts to her. I will say greediness and lack of contentment led some of these girls into immoral acts just to have a taste of a milky doughnut, which might cost them their entire life at the end.

All images are mine

These are the three pictures I would love to talk about for now and also keep for the future, if probably I will be needing them.

Thanks for your time, and your comments will be appreciated.

Ahhh this milky donuts again?🤣I remember how you downgraded it some weeks ago.
It really is more than a scam. It’s just overhyped and there’s nothing special about it.

Me and that milky doughnuts ehn
