Prompt-- permanecer en silencio
As the sun began to set, a crew of human beings gathered in the small park, standing in silence. They had come together to honour the memories of a beloved neighbourhood member who had passed away suddenly.
As they stood there, every misplaced in their personal ideas and reminiscences of the departed, a mild breeze blew through the park, rustling the leaves of the bushes and causing the candles that had been lit to flicker.
Despite the disappointment that hung in the air, there was once an experience of peace and harmony amongst these gathered. They knew that they were no longer on their own in their grief and that others had been mourning too.
As the remaining rays of daylight disappeared over the horizon, the crew slowly dispersed, each taking their personal recollections and emotions with them. But they additionally left with an experience of alleviation and connection, knowing that they had stood collectively in their disappointment and had determined power in their shared experience.
Cuando el sol empezaba a ponerse, un grupo de seres humanos se reunió en el pequeño parque, de pie y en silencio. Se habían reunido para honrar la memoria de un querido vecino que había fallecido repentinamente.
Mientras permanecían allí, cada uno ensimismado en sus ideas y recuerdos personales del difunto, una suave brisa recorrió el parque, agitando las hojas de los arbustos y haciendo parpadear las velas que habían sido encendidas.
A pesar de la decepción que flotaba en el aire, una vez hubo una experiencia de paz y armonía entre los reunidos. Sabían que ya no estaban solos en su dolor y que otros también habían estado de luto.
Cuando los últimos rayos del día desaparecieron en el horizonte, la tripulación se dispersó lentamente, llevándose cada uno sus recuerdos y emociones personales. Pero, además, se fueron con una experiencia de alivio y conexión, sabiendo que habían permanecido colectivamente en su decepción y que habían determinado el poder en su experiencia compartida.
