Hi, my fellow needleworker. I'm excited to share all the pieces I made in July. July was an amazing month for me. Despite its ups and downs, I'm grateful for pushing through and very appreciative of everyone who supported me and always leaving wonderful and motivating comments on my posts.
Balancing my full-time teaching job with sewing as a side hustle and hobby is kinda overwhelming. Most of the time I sew at night or on weekends. Despite the ongoing issue of the power blackout since April which makes me unable to charge my phone more frequently, leaving my phone dead most of the time. I’m happy I managed to snap some of my work and I am excited to show you.
maxi Sunday dress
I have the tradition of wearing new outfits to church on first Sundays. I made this dress because I had nothing new to wear and I wrote a blog on the details and process for making it.

I made an iro and buba outfit for my sister in law naming ceremony. I wrote a blog post on this too
two-piece set
I made this two-piece for a friend. A pant trouser and a plain black wrap top. I love the top, it is one of my favorite tops that I have ever made. I dont really like the pants, the material is not making the pant look beautiful as it should, a plain material would have been better choice, but it is still cute though.

I made the mini bubu for a friend for her school graduation. I added a stone chain( I don't know what it's called) to make it look more attractive. This dress looks a lot better when worn, the floor is making it look a little unapealing.
Another graduation dress
I also made another dress for a friend. This dress took me a whole Sunday from 8 in the morning till 10 pm, approximately 14 hours. The story behind this dress is so funny. Maybe I will probably make a separate blog on that. The dress looks simple and cute.
birtday outfit
I also made this cute jumpsuit for my neighbor's daughter for her birthday next week. The fabric was not enough so I had to be creative with it, so I mixed it with a plain fabric and I think it turned out nice.

Lastly, I made this beautiful mini dress yesterday for an outing. I love the color. I think navy blue suits my skin well. I had an outing on Thursday, And I had nothing to wear so I decided to make a mini dress quickly, unfortunately, it took the whole day and I missed the event but I'm glad I made the dress anyway These are the ones I was able to snap.
