Today I had the pleasure of visiting Takengon Town in Central Aceh. It was a beautiful town with centuries of history built into its foundations. I took a stroll through the old town, which was located near the fish market. I enjoyed the old style shops and their unique charm. After further exploration I discovered that Takengon was founded in 1577, making it an impressive 446 years old. It was an incredible experience and I am looking forward to visiting again.
The town was full of life and culture, and the atmosphere was truly unique. I was so amazed by the vintage of the old town and it was a privilege to be able to capture it in photographs. I am now so happy to share these photos with the Hive Community, so everyone can experience the unique traditional scenery of Takengon Old Town.
