Balance is the unusual word that make individuals stand out in splinterlands. Everything can raise and fall depending on how a player, uses one space over the other. The easiest way to discribe splinterlands is it's a game. However, in this case the appropriate way is to go with is what the OG's call it, Splinterlands is an asset management game. Things one manages spans from personal time allocated to researching new happenings in game, time to play the game, where resources will yield more rewards to mention a few away from game play and activities the game is wildy known for.
Once uporn a time players where rewarded DEC for winning matches now SPS is the reward. All game players fought in one pool at some point , now we have the wild and mordern gaming formats each with different reward systems. Mordern is attractive because of the size of rewards given per win. Victory is nice the adrenaline rush, based on how vicious the game is at a given point is an experience worth sharing and days where you feel you are puting out the best of combinations and yet getting a wooping want you to keep on playing in order to justify yourself only to realize your lose magine keeps widening.
It was going to be easy if fighting came at no cost, There is always an elephant in the room who not only determins how much you can play and how far you can go flushing out those sick combination and this guy is Dark energy crystal. So much depends on how manages there energy that they may end not collecting maximum rewards if not well managed.
In my previous season i managed this with agression and finishing all that was given for the day to get enough chests that saw me making serious accumulations and wins from my reward of the day. Attempting to change this meant i either go two day without playing the game or i purchase some more to start afresh with the goal of maintaining the energy on the higher side. Little did i know, this has the potential of ruinning my season. Splinterlands is a fast paced game. Going hard at your actions is what you do if you are to recive significant gains and positive changes in the right direction, in terms of gains.
Stopping that momentum makes it hard to get it back the you need to quickly rework your mental space and put gass to get the car back to speed. Strangly this is not because you do not want to play but becuase splinterlands in its self is a time sensitive game if i may say. Other hours have tough players making it hard for you to win anything and other hours are walks in park that reward you the most by hummering easier opponents that come your way. Overtime i have been mastering that. Such that i walk away from the game when loosing sticks are on the horizon.
Game play is governed by Dark energy Crystal management. Management of this will tell you when to start playing or when you stop to focus on other things for the day while you wait for it to accumulate and give you another interesting campain, when factors are in your favour and rewards available for your taking. If the rewards are good burning more **DEC ** could see you easily making a profit at the end of the season. However, this to me only makes sense if you are in gold one and higher anything below this means serious hustling if that break through is to come.
Splinterlands is a fun game to play. My observation its not rewarding to casual players who do things passivly, the competition is serious out there neglecting this will only reward you loosing stricks. One needs to be thinking of how to pregress in multiple different ways. All in all the economy is open and those who adequately prepare bring in the most. Your assignment is to strategically position yourself in a place of growth as the game grows, understand the games economy and ensure rewards are consistent, weather you play or not. Where to put your money becomes visible the more you play and watch others navigate the economy. Renting out cards specifically purchased to rent out is also a strategy worth doublinb down on.
Thank you for reading and i hope our paths cross on the battle field and the game gods favour me with a reward of SPS at the end of our encounter.
