I"m back here again and on this occasion I would like to show you some beautiful shots of the jewel flea beetle. I found this beetle sunbathing on the leaves in a wild garden. The beetle was alone on the leaf and it didn't leave when I was near it. I even tried to touch him, apparently he didn't go away either. It doesn't emit any smell either.
His behavior made me curious. Rarely do I find a beetle as scary as this beetle. My curiosity was getting hotter, I tried looking for relatives nearby, but I couldn't find them. I didn't give up and tried searching again. And again I couldn't find any relatives.
I tried to touch the beetle again and get it to talk. I continued babbling even though there was no response from him. Because I kept getting no response, I tried to look at the bottom surface of the leaf where the beetle was standing. Wow, I got an extraordinary surprise.
It turned out that beneath the surface of the leaf was a small family of beetles sleeping. I think the people sleeping under the surface of the leaves are his parents and siblings. Most likely the one alone on the leaf was on duty to guard security.
Even though I had found the family, the baby beetle was still faithfully sitting on the surface of the leaf. Likewise with the family who was sleeping, they continued sleeping.
