As always, thank you my friend. It has been raining all day in England too, only I have lit a wood fire here.
Parts of your song sound very much like a hymn I learnt as a child. Perhaps you may know it? It starts ‘For all the saints, who from their labours rest. Actually I still have my hymn book from my school days, and those days were a long long time ago……though it feels but a little while ago in my memory.

I'm glad you have your fire to keep you warm and happy ☺

I actually do know the song as we have it in the breviary. It is sung to commemorate saints.

Thanks so much @redfeend for your beautiful presence.

PS Ralf Vaughan Williams is considered one of England's finest composers. His work called 'The Lark Ascending' is my most favourite piece of music. It makes me think of a perfect summer day, before the Second World War, before the days of mechanised farming and the destruction of the countryside and the creatures that once common (like the skylark....a British bird), are now rare indeed.

My apologies for going off at a tangent.

PS
When I read '2 world war' I remembered when I was still an idea in the mind of God. 😂
