A sweet Goodbye to my Hometown!

The time went by so quickly. I understand why people use the phrase "in a blink of an eye'. It sure felt similar.

I have been staying at my mom's house for 10 days. This is the place where I grew up. However, the room I had is not there anymore after remodeling the house many years ago. But it still is the house where I had my childhood.

We usually visit her once or twice every year. This is the last visit for this year. Hopefully, we will make it gain in the first quarter of the next year.

I spent the last day of my stay very relaxed. I have no schedule for the whole year. I finished visiting my other relatives, did some paperwork that needed to be done, and packed our language earlier; there was nothing left for the last day.

So I went off to see my hometown for the very last time!

And then went to my mom's terrace garden to see off the flowers and plants.

This small act may seem silly but very meaningful to me. I live in a concrete jungle with limited access to greenery and a garden. So seeing the beautiful garden for the last time when I know that I will get stuck once again in my city apartment when I come back; feels a lot different.

I came back home just before the sunset so I don't miss the golden hour from our terrace.

That's a thing to watch!

I sat there for hours to see how the sky changed its color, and how beautiful it looks when the sun goes down. I had to leave during the night so this was the last sunset from my house for this year.

Life goes on, it never pauses for any of us. I wish my mom would live forever so we could go visit her and have some nostalgic moments like this.

But alas! It will not happen and we know that. Sooner or later, things will change, and we have to readjust to reality, maybe I wouldn't be there, or maybe there would be other circumstances. Only God knows!

Till then, let's enjoy the present - the moment we have now.

Hope so. Thanks 😔

don't be sad dear..

I can't but...it's okay, I will cope :)
Thanks. :) :)

It’s a part of life. Well wishes to you.

Indeed, this is how life works 😔

Saying goodbye to hometown seems hard especially when you stay some days before leaving as we are emotionally connected and we have many memories there. We need to move out from there for various reasons and that's the reality although it's harsh.

Indeed, it's a hard thing to leave behind the thing we love and cherish. But this is life 😔

When you are enjoying yourselves so much in one place, the time seems like moving faster no? I'm sure you mom is really happy coz you get to visit her and spent lovely time with her.

That's right. Good time pasts so quickly and bad time takes forever.
My mom feels sorrow when we leave, especially because of her grandson. This is life 😔
