Did you ever feel excited when you returned to some places and saw the old trees still there, not cut down but flourishing?
This happened to me so many times. Probably because the city is expanding every day and I fear the old trees will be the next victim.
Moreover, spotting big and unusual trees in the city became my new secret hobby. I don't express much but I feel the green inside me. They heal this concrete jungle a little.
This banyan tree is my all-time favorite. It's the campus of the University of Dhaka. Maybe that's why it's still preserved. Otherwise, there's no place in this city for such a big tree. Unbelievable, no?
Then this community garden in the middle of the city never fails to amaze me. Every year they plant fruits and vegetables and it's a pleasure to see the healthy produce.
This guava garden is also my favorite place. There's nothing much to see but the trees and the sky, the simplicity makes it something, a little significant for the city dwellers.
Moreover, finding random flowing trees in the city is always wonderful. We have so many decorative and artificial trees. But the wildflowers, random ones beside the street are what makes the wonder.
More wildflowers, more beauty!
When I say about the small things in life, I mean this. The flowers, the trees, the birds, they make me happy. I don't if it's because I never get much chance to be close to them or if my heart cherishes the country lifestyle or both!
Tree Tuesday was a prompt or a community years back in Hive. I can't remember where I lost it. I loved to see and share these random tree photos and read about other's findings. After many many days, it came to my mind to share such a tree-dedicated post.
Tuesdays are not going very well, nor are any other days in my life. I'm scroll passing everything, every photo and most probably every moment of life too. These are some captures I have shared from my gallery. I hope this brightens your day a little bit just like they did to me.
