One of my favorite things to do when I visit my mom is strolling in my mother's garden. I wonder about her interest in the garden with many of the plants and the power of nature with others.
For example, this Giant Pothos was not an old addition to her garden. But it grew so fast, he had to cut down half of it in the last month.
But look at this giant!
Rain makes it grow faster than ever. And it seems like it will take over her garden and the wall in no time.
A fun fact about Pothos is, that it's called a Money plant here in Bangladesh and in many other areas. So people assume that my mom has as good luck coming on money.
I wish that would be true. I would be a Pothos farmer then. lol
Especially the roots. They look like thriving and going to take over the surroundings. I'm not sure if they are helpful for the other plants pf the garden. As much as it is growing, I'm concerned about whether it would make any harsh impact on the growth of the other plants.
For this reason, my mom didn't use any large trees as a support for these pothos. Let's see what nature surprises us with.
Look at the roots.
This freaked me out as they look like Leech. Or it is just me?
No banana but my hand as scale!
Rain makes everything look better, right?
The first thing I notice when I arrive at my mom's home is that it's in the front door. What an amazing welcome!
Here's a bonus photo of Zebrina from her garden.
Homegarden always mesmerizes me because of the behind story. As a gardener myself I know how much it takes to grow and keep a healthy tree even if that doesn't take much care like this Pothos.
I'm not a professional but I hope you enjoyed the photos of this green beauty.
Have a good day.
