Hello friends, lovers of shadows and light lovers. This is my first time in this interesting community. Some time ago I visited the Museo Memorial de la Denuncia, located in Havana, a facility where pieces referring to the terrorist events that have occurred in Cuba are exhibited. I was very struck by a performance consisting of a grouping of toys from the 1960s that are arranged in such a way that when they are receive the light they project a series of leftovers that, as a whole, take the shape of the Cuban archipelago. In this work, the toys represent the children who were victims of Operation Peter Pan, and the shadow represents the psychological damage represents the psychological damage to the children. Because of the relationship with the shadows I thought: what better place than here to share it. I hope you like it.
Thank you so much everyone for your time.
