One sunny Sunday, we went off for a quick escape. We hopped into our bikes and roared our engines. We gathered and made a short trip outside the city, into the outskirts of our province. It's a 40-minute ride outside the heart of the city.
Squeezing the throttle, revving the engine, making the pipes roar! It's the simple leisure of riding a motorcycle. We can feel the wind as we speed up. We smell the burning gas mixed with the scent of the environment. We taste the dust that sometimes accumulates in our faces.
We can satisfy our need for speed with much freedom. It is the closest we can get to flying. Being on a motorcycle is fun, risky, and memorable.
A band of brothers that don't discriminate against age. A connection of people that enjoy the fun on two wheels.
We decided to camp in one of our brother's lots. Harvested some coconuts, and drank some rhum. We built a bonfire to give us light, warm us, and help repel the mosquitos.
Coconut is the perfect partner for rhum. It cools the burn trace of alcohol and soothes the throat. Readying the tastebuds for another round of drinks. It is sweet and refreshing.
More camping posts are coming! hehe.
