The Splinterlands game-play has many aspects to it. Today we will be focused on a part of that game-play that I believe is underutilized. What could that be? Custom Challenges.

First you will need to log in to the Splinterlands game. This can be done in a multitude of ways but @rentmoney's preferred method is using Hive Keychain (A secure log in app that makes account switching a breeze). After log in you will be directed to the main Splinterlands page. Its from here that you will navigate to the top corner of your screen and hover over the PLAY icon. Once you do so a drop down menu will appear. Inside that drop down menu is a list of actions one can take. Displayed at the top of that list is the clickable icon named RANKED PLAY (click it). After you click on Ranked Play you will be brought to the battle screen. It is here where you can choose what league you wish to battle in, Modern or Wild. It is also here where you can send CHALLENGES. It's within the Challenges feature that you can create custom battles. (What? Where? I can't see the challenges link). All fair points but its there tucked in the upper corner directly below your profile name. See it now? Great, click on it and a new window will appear. This window will display multiple different options to set up your very own customized battle. You will need to (1) Pick an opponent (2) Choose what cards are allowed (3) Choose your desired Summoner caps (4) Place A MANA Cap (Optional) (5) Select Ruleset (Optional). After you place in all those details its off to the races or in this case; off to your customized battle field.
All that is left to do is smash that send icon. Once you do its a waiting game. The opponent you picked to send your customized challenge to will need to accept your challenge before a battle can commence. Yup, it's that simple, it's that easy and it's a whole lot of fun. Once your opponent accepts the customized battle challenge yous both will be brought to the screen to pick your allies and the standard prep for battle begins. This is a great feature for many reasons. Not only can you customized battles but it allows you to play directly with chosen Splinterlanders. My suggestion is if you need to brush up on a specific battle rule using challenges to customize battles is a great way to do just that. Got a beef with a fellow player, want to show them the power of your collection. Challenges can help you do that. Just traded for a new card or maybe you just so happen to MAX your first card but want to test it before going into Ranked Play. You guessed it, challenges is a way you can do just that.

Such assets are tradable on-site or on many secondary markets such as TribalDex and Hive-Engine. Don't have a Splinterlands account yet. Well you are in luck because I just so happen to have an ambassador code. Clicking it will start the sign up process. What is an ambassadors code? Its a code that will give me credit for your sign up at no cost to you.
