ln today's world jobs test are done to cover up recommendations and to show that atleast it was done, yet the real deal is, the people that will be given the jobs are basically through recommendations, then others that do not have somebody to speak for them should just count themself out because the job is not for them.
Most company's values who recommend a worker to them higher than what the person has to offer.
That is why we find people who don't performed well in office, yet with the either wrong character or poor performance he/she offer the department would be given a deaf ear to lt.
The deal is the department head would not want to have issues with the manager of the company knowing quite well the manager might get annoyed with him/her on why they have to question that particular worker up to that extent, coupling with the background of the worker.
A good example of where you see something like this are in the banks, sometimes you get in there to do a thing and they will just end up wasting your time more than necessary and instead of him/her to sit up and attend to customers, you see them going round from one room to another with white paper, while keeping the customers waiting.
They do this because what the customer asked them to do are something they do not have knowledge on how to get it solve even while the laptop are there on the table.
So they will have to excuse themselves, get into one room or the other and did some research about how to get the customer request solve.
They are not just competent on that job, but because of the recommendation they went to the test with, the job was given to them, as the letter came from a person holding a higher position in the government, now others that were more qualified were not employed.
Then when customers walk in that place the next day the worker would end up wasting their time.
One will reason if he/she were not taught of his position before he was placed there, he was taught, but the deal is, he was not fit at all, but because of greed, the whole thing was not considered, they placed the person and the customer end up complaining many times for them to get a good service.
l was in the bank to do some stuff, after wasting a lot of times and finally attended to, l was told my request will take up 48 hours to start working, now lt's up to a month and the essence of me going there that day Is not done.
Yet I was told I shouldn't worry, thinking about this just make me to understand that the worker was not competent, and must be one of those people who got jobs through recommendations.
Although recommendations are good gauge used to know people of good character, yet I am beginning to think that people are abusing it.
