El estilo Comic Cartoon
Cómo es de costumbre empezamos con nuestro boceto, como dije anteriormente el cliente quería una comisión con una temática de spiderman así que busque una imagen de referencia para guiarme un poco de la temática
Después de estudiar la estructura de la imagen de referencia, tanto sus colores y texturas empecé a dibujar el boceto del personaje
The Comic Cartoon style
As usual we started with our sketch, as I said before the client wanted a commission with a spiderman theme so I looked for a reference image to guide me a little bit of the theme.
After studying the structure of the reference image, both its colors and textures, I began to draw the character sketch.
A la ilustración quería darle ese estilo de comic cartoon ya que la persona transmitía eso en si, es una mujer de baja estatura y con una expresión tierna así que quise combinar el estilo cartoon con el estilo comic, en una pose como si estuviera tomándose una selfie, debo aclarar que le gusta mucho tomarse selfies.
I wanted to give the illustration that cartoon comic style since the person transmitted that in itself, she is a short woman with a tender expression so I wanted to combine the cartoon style with the comic style, in a pose as if she was taking a selfie, I must clarify that she likes to take selfies a lot.
Ya teniendo el boceto empezamos con el Lineart, tenía que lograr ese acabado tipo cartoon ya que el estilo comic lo iba a plasmar cuando tocara pintar la ilustración, así que me enfoque en hacer bien el LineArt y que se viera tal cual como quería
Once we had the sketch we started with the Lineart, I had to achieve that cartoon-like finish since the comic style was going to be captured when it was time to paint the illustration, so I focused on making the LineArt well and that it looked just as I wanted it to look
Llegamos al momento donde le damos esa escencia que caracteriza las ilustraciones de spiderman, empecé a utilizar colores muy fuertes para jugar después con sus sombras, me enfoque en darle los detalles blancos ya que no se distinguía las líneas de los brazos o el cabello así que utilice el color blanco para dar un poco más de iluminación y que no se viera tan oscuro, baje la opacidad de la capa para que no se vieran ni tan opaco ni tan blanco el color, añadimos el detalle de los ojos para salir del paso en esa sección de la ilustración.
We arrived at the moment where we give that essence that characterizes the illustrations of spiderman, I started using very strong colors to play later with their shadows, I focused on giving the white details since the lines of the arms or hair could not be distinguished so I used the white color to give a little more lighting and not look so dark, lower the opacity of the layer to not look so opaque or so white color, we added the detail of the eyes to get out of the way in that section of the illustration.
Ya establecido el color base empezamos a detallar ciertas partes como los labios y los ojos que le dimos sombras, y alguna que otras líneas blancas por el cabello para que no se viera tan oscuro y que tuviera más protagonismo en la ilustración
Once the base color was established, we began to detail certain parts such as the lips and eyes, which we gave shadows, and some white lines in the hair so that it did not look so dark and had more prominence in the illustration.
Ya teniendo los detalles de la ilustración pasamos al siguiente nivel que era darle ese toque de comic con una configuración de las capas Donde podía colocarle una textura de puntillismo, algo que había visto en la película de spiderverse, y quise ponerlo aquí también en la ilustración, aparte de que el rostro ya le habíamos puesto sombra, quise jugar un poquito más con las sombras ya que no quería que estuviera tan pálida o simple así que le coloque un poco más de sombra con el aerógrafo en el rostro, coloque tres tonos de azul para simular la noche y unos rectángulos que simulaban edificio con ventanas con sus luces encendidas.
Once we had the details of the illustration we went to the next level which was to give it that comic touch with a configuration of the layers where I could place a pointillism texture, something I had seen in the spiderverse movie, and I wanted to put it here in the illustration, besides that we had already put shadow on the face, I wanted to play a little more with the shadows because I didn't want her to be so pale or simple so I put a little more shadow with the airbrush on the face, I put three shades of blue to simulate the night and some rectangles that simulated a building with windows with their lights on.
Ya para finalizar como que ese detalle que tenían las cámaras de las líneas blancas junto con el pseudónimos de "SEÑORITA PARKER" Ya que ella me pidió que lo pusiera así, me gustó mucho el resultado y la clienta quedó más que satisfecha, amo la ilustracion y ahora la usa como foto de perfil

Finally, that detail that the cameras had the white lines with the pseudonym of "LADY PARKER" since she asked me to put it that way, I really liked the result and the client was more than satisfied, I love the illustration and now she uses it as her profile picture.
