So, I had a Senior Colleague who referred to me as Pretty Retty in a Post during my First Birthday 🎂 at the University, and before I knew it, everyone started to call me that but well prior to that I have had other funny nicknames from Highschool. Well on an official note, my name is RETNA Felix but you can call me Retty for short and friendly purposes and of Course, you can add the Pretty to it because…why not.I am Pretty and I do make and Create Pretty stuff.
Going in to details, I am the third born out of Five kids, having a Girl👩 and a Boy👨 coming before me and same after me. This made me to be somewhat unique in a way that seems I am in a whole different world together yet I am the one who brings all the energy and vibe at home. Of course I got that from my mum, but I can bet you, when I get serious on things then you would say, “like Father like daughter”. My Parents have different personalities which offers me a bit of both more like a 50 to 50 compared to my siblings who exhibit more of a 30 to 70 or vice versa. This mix of different personalities brings out the “beauty in diversity” 😌 kind of thing and one would as well say, my Home is Lively, even in the midst of shortcomings, God helps us to create a Balance to Love, Forgive and Correct when necessary. I am a Christian and I Love Jesus so much.
My Background
I am a From the North central part of Nigeria, Living on the plateau ⛰️. A very beautiful place that makes you appreciate nature and Gods endowed Creation. I Come from one of the numerous Ethnic Groups in the state and because of the diversity it makes me understand a bit of different Local languages. If you are thinking of touring in Nigeria and you Love nature…this is the place to be😊😊😊. I will talk more about it some other time.
My Likes
Well, I used to have a kind of mix up between my likes and my Hobbies and most time I as well just put them together. I love to sing, dance, gist, talk and act. Talking about acting🤪, it’s as easy as me being able to mimic someone I just met for the first time. During High school I was in both the drama and Choral society and I was the cause of the noise in class during free periods😂, but I knew when to sneak out and go to the library to read my books, leaving almost everyone in the class talking about how Retna mimicked the last teacher that left class. Looking at my hobbies I would say, taking walks in Nature scenes (Probably because of where I grew up), travelling to new places and Changing outfits, that is, trying out different combos from my wardrobe or the one’s I sneaked out from my mum or big Sister’s wardrobe and of course, they can’t help but let it go.
Dislikes
Imagine being in a place and everyone doesn’t find the situation comfortable 😥😓but pretends to, probably just to please someone. I hate seeing people being Intimidated or Embarrassed. You know there is a thin line between self Confidence and Pride… 😔please don’t Cross it in my presence. Every Sense of mediocrity is a pet peeve for me. Nothing much to focus on about the dislikes but I would Jokingly say, “I don’t like what I hate”😄.
Interests
I am interested in things and topics related to Business👔, Fashion designing✂️✂️, hairstyling💆 💇♀️, Leadership, tax, personal development, climate 🌍, sustainable solutions 🌿, Relationships ❤️ and Lots more which makes me know a bit of many and diverse aspects of life. I am highly inquisitive so I am open to learn, unlearn and relearn🖊️📄 always.
I got to know about hive blockchain based on my interest in personal development and trying out new things which I shared with @faquan. Thank you for helping to bring me here.
I hope to contribute to this platform by sharing and learning in different ways, based on my discoveries and experiences with Life, business, family career and what they all have to offer, bringing in that which makes one to do more and be a better version every day.
