"WHAT A LOSS?"
📕TODAY'S TEXT:
Then she called, “Samson, the Philistines are upon you!”
He awoke from his sleep and thought, “I’ll go out as before and shake myself free.”
But he did not know that the Lord had left him (Judges 16:20).
🔑🔐KEY VERSE:
Flee fornication.
Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body (1 Corinthians 6:18).
💞CENTRAL TRUTH:
Whatever makes you discard God to keep it, you'll still end up losing.
🖊️MAIN DISCOURSE:
Because of life's pressures, many believers have ejected God from their lives just to keep a relationship, business, marriage or material possessions. But at the end they'll still lose those things for which they removed God from their lives.
Our text for today tells us about the tragic mistake made by Samson, the lone great soldier of God.
He forsook God in order to keep a woman. In the end, he lost both the woman and his ministry.
What a great loss!
What will be your profit if you lose God because of a man, woman or connections you're running after, and in the end, still lose those things?
If you can't keep God in your life, you can't keep anything at all.
God is the only keeper of all things.
If you're about to remove God from your life because of something you desire to have, better retrace your steps because you're about to make the greatest possible mistake.
You'll end up losing everything.
If you can't keep God, you can't keep anything!
