Hi everyone in the City of Neoxian, is my first time in this community, I found this community while exploring the beautiful environment of Hive, I also discovered that it is the community I will be given an opportunity to share my life experiences and thoughts as well and so today I will be sharing some ideas on the little things some couples neglect that would have save their marriages from deteriorating.
What an irony of life , most couple in their courtship state were all over their fiancee and fiance, doing things to keep the love alive but sooner the tie the knot they forget about those things that sparked them up during their courtship period. It is so unfortunate to see this days that some marriages that were once epitome of beauty and envy have deteriorated all because of neglect of little things they feel that doesn't matter anymore.
Below I will be highlighting some of the little things that couple should look out for in their marital journey which will help spices their marriages and also safeguard their marriages from deteriorating.
Things for Couples to look out for in their marriages
Communication: Communication can be defined as the dissemination of information.Couples needs to build a life of communicating with each other as a breach in communication can create vacuum.
Trust : Trust can be seen as a firm belief in something or someone. Couples should learn to trust each other as the beginning of marital failure starts with distrust.
Finance: Couples should be financially accountable and open to each other in order to be able to build a stable financial future together. It is unfortunate that this days majority of couples are not financially accountable and open to each other and this most times brings about issues in their union.
Forgiveness: This brings me to sharing my experience as a wife for the past 11 years. Over time my husband and I have built an atmosphere of not allowing offenses sleep over no matter the volume of offense ,we will always find a way of resolving it, so it is very important for couple to learn to forgive each other and move on rather than holding on to offenses .
Commitment: Marriage itself is work and you can only get out what you have put in. Couples should be committed to making their marriages work, appreciate each other , gift each other and constantly affirm your love to each other, this little things makes you both to feel valued by each other and as well add spice to your marriage.
Respect: Love comes with respect, you can't say you love when you disrespect your spouse. Couples should be committed to respecting each other , correct with love when together and not disgrace your spouse in the open, be proud of your spouse wherever you go together, do not talk down the self esteem of your spouse, do not discuss your spouse with friends, avoid involving family members in your marital affair and always find a way of resolving your differences without including a third party.
This are a few out of the many things that couple should look out for that in felt lead to share in order to save someone's marriage out there , I hope you put them to practice and watch your marriages take a new turn of marital bliss.
