Is AI making our work easy or it’s making us lazy?

Hello guys, I’m here to share my thoughts about the development of AI.

The world as we all know is entering the technology age, where we get to see artificial intelligence doing all our work much easier and faster but does that mean humanity will no longer to able to work?

I am in the university and in my final year, I never really know that there was an AI called a chatbot until I was introduced to it. The first time I got to use it was when I needed my assignment done. I just typed in the questions and it gave me an answer within 30 seconds. Since then most people have been using it even in the process of writing a quiz.

The introduction of AI has been one of the best and most disastrous things to have ever happened. Don’t get me wrong. Students nowadays find it difficult to analyze and come out with an answer on their own, they rely on a chatbot to help them in solving 90% of their problems.

The creative architecture who used to brainstorm and come out with a creative design now depends on AI to help him out with designs. The brilliant student who used to study now depends on an AI bot to answer his/her assignment questions.

I can’t say that the development of AI hasn’t been good to me because I am one of the people who uses it to solve my problems but then I sat down and asked my questions what if I’m found in the exams hall which doesn’t allow the use of phone, how do I write the exam?

This a a question I keep asking myself. I even read a post about people using AI to come up with a post on hive here, is that really how the level of laziness has reached.

I think the use of AI should be limited at some points.

Thank You

Fully agree with you on the disaster that will occur to many people if they rely on the AI bots to answer the questions and do the work. I hope this will lead to more testing in the classroom setting as a way to get around this nonsense.

AI can be a useful tool in some scenarios but I overall dislike it because of the negative implications it will have on humanity. We are losing ourselves one step at a time and that’s a big detriment.

On the other hand though it could potentially allow us to advance things technologically in ways we weren’t sure of before. It’s a very delicate situation.

That’s right
