I will tell you a real-life story about what happened to my mother and her son-in-law. She had a not-very-good mother-in-law and son-in-law relationship, but as time went by, it became very tense.

It all started when my sister fell in love with a guy who was older than her. At that time, he was about ten years older than her, and she became pregnant at 15. From that moment on, the ordeal began for my mother.

When my sister became pregnant, the man had to take her to live with him without any enthusiasm. Luckily for my sister, her house was a few blocks from ours, so we went to see her every day, so we thought, but my mother's son-in-law had other plans.

Days passed, my sister stopped coming to our house, and days even went by without being able to see her. My mother began to notice that my sister suffered a sudden change. She became introverted, lost a lot of weight, and wore old and ugly clothes, among other details that made my mother worry.

One day, my sister came home and started crying because her husband had not bought her remittance, and she did not have anything to feed her little daughter. When my mother saw her like that, she gave her food and money to buy what she needed.

She was happy. After a few hours, she went home and came back crying desperately. My terrified mother asked her, “What's wrong, daughter?”

“Mother, mother, he mistreated me and threw the food into the street, took my money, and left.” Bruised eyes filled with bitter tears.

“What did that man think? He will have to listen to me.” My mother's face seemed to be spewing fire.

After waiting for him to arrive, my mother went to argue with him, causing a big commotion. The man and my mother were going to come to blows, and the families intervened to keep them from hurting each other. He lost his way down the hallway and, after a few minutes, came out with a huge knife, threateningly waving the weapon as he ran out of the darkness.

My mother, very furious, confronted the man who had lost his mind. The families intervened to avoid a tragedy. After a few expletives and curses, the situation became less intense, and finally, everyone went home.

After that moment, things continued to get very bad. My mother and her son-in-law got into endless fights, to the point that we feared for my mother's life. After so many fights, one day, my sister decided to leave the man and return to the house. The family expected the worst from the man when he demanded my sister's return, but to our surprise, he did nothing.

After many years, my sister rebuilt her life and moved on with her daughters, completely forgetting about the evil man, and grateful to my mother for her unconditional support. Undoubtedly, my mother had the worst mother-in-law-son-in-law relationship, and she will never forget everything that happened with that man and what made her daughter live in the worst stage that my sister had to live next to the guy.

Les contaré una historia de la vida real que le sucedió a mi madre con su yerno. Ella tuvieron una relación suegra yerno no muy buena y con el tiempo se volvió muy tensa.

Todo comenzó cuando mi hermana se enamoró de un tipo mayor que ella, en ese entonces él le llevaba unos diez años y quedó embarazada a la edad de 15 años, en ese punto empezó el calvario para mi madre.

Cuando mi hermana quedó embarazada, el hombre tuvo que llevársela de muy mala manera a vivir. Por suerte para mi hermana, su casa quedaba a unas cuantas cuadras de la nuestra, así que la estaríamos viendo todos los días, eso era lo que pensábamos, pero el yerno de mi madre tenía otros planes.

Pasaban los días y mi hermana poco a poco dejó de ir a nuestra casa, a veces pasaban semanas sin saber de ella. Mi madre empezó a notar que mi hermana sufrió un cambio repentino, se volvió introvertida, había perdido peso, usaba ropa muy vieja y fea, entre otros detalles que la tenían muy preocupada.

Mi hermana llegó un día a la casa, se puso a llorar porque su marido no le había comprado remesa y no tenía que darle de comer a su hija pequeñita. Mi madre al verla así, le dio algunos alimentos y algo de dinero para que comprara lo que necesitara.

Ella se puso muy feliz y después de unas horas se fue para su casa. Al momento, mi hermana regresó, gritaba y lloraba desesperada. Mi madre muy asustada le preguntaba, «¿Qué pasa, hija?»

«Madre, madre, él me maltrato y botó los alimentos a la calle, me quitó el dinero y se fue». Los ojos con moretones se llenaban de lágrimas amargas.
«Que se ha creído ese hombre. Me va a escuchar lo que tengo que decirle». La cara de mi madre parecía expulsar fuego.

Luego de esperar a que llegara él, mi madre fue a confrontarlo. Ese día se formó un gran escándalo, el hombre y mi madre se iban a ir a los golpes y las familias intervinieron para evitar que se hagan daño. Él se perdió por entre el pasillo y luego de unos minutos salió con un cuchillo enorme, amenazante movía el arma, mientras salía corriendo del fondo de las tinieblas.

Mi madre completamente furiosa se enfrentó al hombre que había perdido la razón. Las familias intervinieron para evitar una tragedia, luego de algunos improperios y maldiciones, la situación fue bajando en intensidad y finalmente cada quien se fue a sus casas.

Después de aquel momento, las cosas siguieron muy mal, mi madre y su yerno se enfrascaron en un enfrentamiento interminable, hasta el punto que nosotros llegamos a temer por la vida de mi madre. Después de tantas peleas, un día mi hermana decidió dejar al hombre y volvió a la casa. La familia estaba esperando lo peor del hombre cuando llegara a reclamar el regreso de mi hermana, pero para nuestra sorpresa él no hizo nada.

Después de muchos años, mi hermana reconstruyo su vida y salió adelante con sus hijas, olvidado por completo al malvado hombre y eternamente agradecida con mi madre por su apoyo incondicional. Sin dudas mi madre tuvo la peor de las relaciones suegra yerno y ella nunca olvidará todo lo que pasó con ese hombre, también lo que le hizo vivir a su hija, en la peor etapa que mi hermana tuvo que vivir al lado del tipo.
