Excellent Sunday conversation coffee lovers.

Today I come to participate in the new conversation of the week with lots of coffee and flavor. This time we are asked about what pancakes we accompany our coffee with in the mornings.

Here it is not customary to accompany the morning coffee with pancakes, here we use any type of bread or 'arepas'. In my case I like to drink my coffee some small breads called 'Jamones', they don't have meat or anything like that, it's just the name. They are made of flour and in the middle they have a delicious sweet called 'Arequipe'. Of course it is not the only thing I accompany my coffee with, there are times when I make it with salt bread or sweet bread.

That has been my answer to the question of the week for the conversation. I look forward to reading more of your responses.

Great start to the week.☕

Those are the only cachitos I love, haha.☕😆😘👍

They are very delicious, perfect to accompany our delicious coffee. 😋😆☕

Excellent start week!

☕🤗🤗

It's so funny you call them jamones; perhaps it's because they resemble the ham part of pork? It's the frist time I see the term used for some kind of bread. In Venezuela, we have something similar: cachitos, which are traditionally stuffed with minced ham or minced ham and cheese; the dough is semi sweet. Cachito (little horn) is our version of a kipferl. All of them good with a cup of coffee 😁

Pancakes are not so popular here in the UK, either. But between the sweet American and Dutch pancakes, it's the Dutch ones for sure. I particularly like them with spring onions, cheese, and ham. It's been ages since I've eaten it, but I normally get them from the supermarket and I haven't seen any in a long time:)

Spring onions, ham and cheese sounds good on the side, I'll try to make one and see how it turns out.

Excellent start to the week with lots of coffee.☕😋

A breakfast of this type always goes down well, especially accompanied with a good coffee, if it is with milk better.

"Nothing like peasant bread with tomato and cheese to go with your morning coffee"
is what we will tell you in my house if you ask 🤭.... It's good to enjoy these pleasures of life. ☕☕💜

What is made by hand has that wonderful flavor, you can feel the love with which it was prepared. I have tried processed breads sold in supermarkets and they really do not taste the same.

Happy new week!
