Excellent Sunday of conversation coffee lovers.

A new topic of conversation has been brought to us by our dear coffee friends. Today we are asked if we have ever ground coffee without a grinder and how we did it.

Very rarely has anything other than a grinder been used for coffee beans at home. The rare times that another element has been used to grind coffee has been with a grinder, those that are attached to the table and that are used to grind corn, peanuts, meat, etcetera. The good thing about these mills is that you can adjust the grinders to make it finer or coarser, and for coffee it is very practical. It's a pity that I can't show you a picture of the grinder since it's not at home anymore. That was the experience I wanted to share with you.

I hope to continue reading you in the comments about your coffee grinding methods.

I wish you all an excellent start of the week with lots of coffee.☕

We don't have coffee grinders at home. We just keep on using ready made coffe powder. It will lessen the time preparing and less hassle to my parents. But if given the chance to have the coffee grinder it would be so much fun also.

I've always wanted a manual grinder... I've seen a few and asked for prices. I bought the electric one because when I decided to look for one I found it on sale... and it looked very good and pretty. In fact, it lasted a long time... until a few days ago it didn't turn on.
I can't compromise on a manual one because there are only my son and I in the house, so we can grind just the coffee of the day.
The fact of grinding by hand is more artisanal and more attractive to me... Greetings,@rinconpoetico7 y @tibilopez

Oh, you've just made me remember we have an old big manual grinder somewhere in the backyard. It was fixed to a table and my husband's family used it for grinding corn--to make arepa dough--, but it's too big; I don't think I'd clean it just to grind some coffee beans...

Wow, I never thought that meat grinders will work for coffee too! We don’t have one at home, but if I see one in a friend’s, I will be curious to try it with coffee 😁
